QuartierApp connects neighbours, families and neighbourhoods so that nobody quietly slips out of view. Simple to use — especially for people who are often left alone with the usual technology.
The problem
Who notices when someone quietly slips out of view?
Closeness happens less on its own these days. People living alone do not always get in touch — and relatives often live far away. The plan to drop by is easily put off, until a good intention has quietly become too late.
QuartierApp wants to close that gap without being intrusive: a quiet line between neighbours, family and neighbourhood.

Not another loud app. A few quiet paths, so that contact and help stay easy day to day.
A line that stays open
Neighbours and family stay connected without constantly having to ask. A short hello is enough to make clear: all is well.
Small help, quickly asked for
A bit of shopping, an errand, someone to listen: whoever needs something just asks — whoever can help, sees it. A neighbourhood finding its way back together.

Built for people who struggle with the usual technology: calm, understandable, with read-aloud output and visible contrast.

QuartierApp is meant for older people and their relatives. Data like that deserves particular care — which is why privacy here is not a footnote but part of how it is built.
- Sparing with data, clear roles, processing in the EU. Who sees what is governed in a way you can follow.
- No selling of data, no tracking, no advertising. The closed pilot starts without any public flow of data.
- People decide, not automation. The important steps stay in the hands of those involved.
Technology for older people must never be complicated. If it is, I have not done my job.
Where it stands
A closed pilot — deliberately small.
QuartierApp currently runs as a closed pilot with individual families. No public launch, no advertising — first it has to hold up in real everyday life, then it opens.
