Guest registration without the paperwork.
Meldefein brings guest registration, visitor's tax and a digital guest guide together. Your guests enter their details on their own phone before arrival; you only check them. So that hosting has more to do with guests again than with forms.
The problem
The registration form comes back with every guest.
Every arrival brings the same obligatory work: fill in the form, transfer the data, settle the visitor's tax, file it. Quick enough one at a time — over a year it becomes a stack that eats up time and patience.
Meldefein turns that procedure into a digital one that repeats itself — instead of walking through it by hand every time.

What Meldefein does
Set it up once, then it runs
Not another booking system, but a lean helper for the obligations around it.
A link instead of a slip of paper
The guest enters their details on their own phone before arrival. You only check them instead of typing up forms.
To the right authority, without detours
The guest report goes via the AVS interface to where it has to go. It requires a cleared connection for your municipality.
Billing and information in one place
Stays, nights and visitor's tax details are kept together as a working basis for your settlement with the municipality. Guests open the Wi-Fi, house information and your recommendations in the browser.
Trust
Guest data should be protected — not collected.
Registration forms contain personal data about your guests. Meldefein handles it as sparingly as the obligation allows — and no further.
- Only the data the registration obligation requires. Processing in the EU, with clear deletion periods.
- No tracking, no passing data on for advertising. The data serves the registration — nothing else.
- You stay in control: you see what is reported — and you remain responsible for it.
Administration should barely be felt. The time belongs to the guests, not to the registration form.
Where it stands
The connection is in place. Now come the first hosts.
The test series against the AVS registration web service ran through completely and without errors, and Meldefein is registered and cleared with AVS as software. Bad Säckingen is the first connected local tourist authority.
Meldefein runs in our own holiday flat with real arrivals. New hosts start with personal support and, for now, with an invitation code. That way it shows where everyday use still catches before Meldefein opens to everyone.
