Projects

What is being built at Theobase

Projects that connect people, take the weight out of recurring work, and give some orientation in everyday life — from the neighbourhood to the classroom.

  1. 01 QuartierApp / nachbar·io Helps neighbours stay in touch and support each other in everyday life. Who notices when someone quietly slips out of view? For whom Older people · relatives · neighbourhoods Where it stands Closed pilot Next step Supporting the pilot families; it goes public only once the pilot holds up. Look at QuartierApp →
  2. 02 Meldefein Brings guest registration, visitor's tax and a digital guest guide together for holiday flats. Recurring obligatory work eats time, even though the procedure is perfectly clear. For whom Holiday-flat hosts Where it stands Officially connected, invitation-only start Next step Supporting the first hosts personally; opening to everyone once real arrivals run through cleanly day to day. Look at Meldefein →
  3. 03 TeacherOps Two halves: a cockpit for the teacher and a practice app for their students. Too many small tasks take time away from teaching and from people. For whom Teachers and small education teams Where it stands Early pilot Next step Trying the student app with a real learning group before opening it to others. Look at TeacherOps →
  4. 04 Nelrik Learning under the northern lights: a calm learning world for children aged 6 to 10 — no accounts, no tracking, works offline. Children should be allowed to practise without their data ending up in a cloud. For whom Families · primary school, ages 6–10 Where it stands In development — the first pieces are in place Next step Adding the first learning content; launching as a web app and an iOS app for families. Try Nelrik →
  5. 05 Phone assistant Answers calls when nobody can pick up — and sends a finished call-back note. For a small business, a missed call is often a lost job. For whom Small businesses · sole traders Where it stands Live in our own business — you can call it Next step Gathering experience in our own business first. For other businesses only once the data-processing question is settled. Look at the phone assistant →

The point is not the technology but what it makes possible for people: more participation, less burden, and understandable support at the right moment.

Commissioned work too

Is there a procedure that costs you time for no good reason?

Theobase does not only build its own products. It also develops individual digital solutions for small companies and organisations — from the first idea to a tool you can actually work with. Not an off-the-shelf kit, but a tool for exactly your procedure.

  • First we work out what really costs time today
  • The smallest useful step comes before the big project
  • Built on minimal data, with running costs settled beforehand

How it works

From the first conversation to a tool you can use

No quote out of thin air, and no invoice that turns out bigger than expected. Four steps, each with a clear result.

  1. Conversation

You describe the procedure that costs you time. I keep asking until I have understood it. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

  2. Proposal with a fixed price

You get it in writing: what will be built, what it costs, and what is deliberately not included. Nothing starts before you agree.

  3. The smallest useful step

What gets built first is the piece that takes work off your hands right away — not the whole vision. That way you see something usable early and can steer while steering is still easy.

  4. Handover

You get the tool, the access and an explanation in plain language. Whatever it takes to keep running is settled beforehand.

What it costs

You get a fixed price before we start — for a clearly described scope. No timesheet, and no invoice that turns out bigger than expected.

Running costs for hosting and services are named beforehand and kept separate from that price. You know what you will be paying later before you say yes.

How long it takes depends too much on the project to put a number here. It is in the proposal — and then it holds.

Describe your procedure

A good digital tool does not set out to impress with technology. It makes life a little lighter.

— What Theobase GmbH aims for

How we work

How a good idea turns into something helpful

Theobase starts from a real need, deliberately keeps things lean, and develops them further with the people who will use them.

  1. 01

    Listening

    Understand the everyday first

It does not start with a list of features but with a simple question: what weighs on people today, and what would genuinely help them?

  2. 02

    Focusing

    Design one clear, lean solution

Out of the need comes a manageable path: as little complexity as possible and exactly as much technology as necessary.

  3. 03

    Trying it out

    Check together what really helps

Early feedback shows what holds. Only once something is understandable, dependable and useful does it take the next step.

Effect

Technology is allowed to feel like relief.

Theobase concentrates on projects that make something noticeably better day to day: less paperwork, more orientation, stronger community, and more time for people.

01

Small solutions can change a lot

A clear procedure, an understandable piece of information or a dependable connection can noticeably lighten someone's day.

02

Social ideas deserve good technology

Projects without a big stage should be built just as professionally, just as accessibly, and with the same care.

About Theobase

Practice turned into digital relief.

Behind Theobase GmbH stands Thomas Theobald — technician, practitioner and digital product developer. His long experience in technical field service shapes what the company expects of itself: digital tools must be understandable, dependable and genuinely usable in everyday work.

Out in the field you see what never makes it into a presentation: lists kept twice over, notes that get typed up later, the same questions asked again and again. Small points of friction that cost time every day — and that at some point nobody questions any more.

That is exactly where Theobase starts. Every project begins with a problem somebody actually has, not with a technology that happens to be interesting. Only once the procedure is understood does the building begin.

The focus is on concrete challenges that often get overlooked — recurring work, missing orientation, or the wish to connect people with each other more easily.

Particularly important are projects that strengthen community, make participation easier, or give small organisations and businesses room for what matters. That is what technology should be there for.

Transparency

Technology should earn trust.

Theobase says openly which technology a digital tool uses and what happens to data. The FAQ assistant on this page is a demonstration and does not connect to any AI service.

Where AI is used, it is labelled clearly and understandably.

Real operation only starts once processing, contracts, labelling and costs have been checked carefully.

Is the AI on this page live yet?

No. The assistant shows prepared answers and does not connect to an AI service. Real operation only starts after a careful review.

Can I commission Theobase to build a solution of my own?

Yes. Alongside its own products, Theobase develops individual solutions for small companies and organisations — social initiatives, neighbourhoods, associations and education teams just as much as businesses with a recurring procedure that should get easier.
